Evan-Moor Educational Publishers Announces the Establishment of the New Evan-Moor School Publishing Group
After 30 years of providing K–8+ educators with quality supplemental materials, Evan-Moor takes its award-winning resources directly to school districts nationwide.
MONTEREY, CALIF. (February 20, 2009) - Evan-Moor Educational Publishers proudly announces the establishment of the Evan-Moor School Publishing Group, a new division of the company responsible for selling sole source teaching materials to school districts nationwide. Also new to the company is Dan Marques, who will be leading the exciting new initiative as Regional Sales Director.
Marques joins Evan-Moor with over 20 years of successful experience in sales, marketing, and management in the educational publishing industry. Along with experience teaching in the classroom, Marques brings with him a wealth of knowledge from his work with top publishers, including Pacific Learning, Sundance/Newbridge, and Franklin Electronic Publishers.
"Dan's vast experience and success in the educational sales industry will help take Evan-Moor's already-successful sole source product line to the next level," says Evan-Moor National Sales Director, Marcia Wall. "We are thrilled to have him on as part of the team and are excited about the new opportunities and prospects this venture will bring to the company."
Joining Marques in his efforts is a diverse team of independent sales representatives that will continue to grow as the initiative progresses.
